Nohea Bronze was founded in April 2022 by, JoAnna Thompson , a longtime professional in the fitness industry, where she spent over 15 years helping others feel confident in their own skin. Looking to continue that same impact in a way that aligned more closely with her life at home, she transitioned into building a business centered around confidence, care, and personal connection.
As a homeschool mom of two, her decision was deeply influenced by a desire to be more present with her family, especially following the loss of her mother earlier that year. That season reshaped her priorities and inspired her to create something meaningful that balanced both family life and personal purpose.
Through Nohea Bronze, she helps clients feel more confident and put together, whether for special events or everyday life. The name “Nohea,” meaning “beautiful” in Hawaiian, is a tribute to her mother and her love for Maui—making the business not only a reflection of her work, but of what matters most to her.
