About the owner
Zach Steele, owner of Lanai Lights, was born and raised in Southwest Florida, where much of his life has been spent fishing, exploring the coastlines, and building one of the area’s leading outdoor lighting companies.
The business was founded on innovation and family roots. In 2008, Zach’s grandfather, Bob Steele, invented the first-ever sconce light designed specifically for pool cages, helping establish Lanai Lights as a pioneer in outdoor lighting solutions.
Zach and his fiancée, Jes, along with their two dogs, made Babcock Ranch their permanent home four years ago. They enjoy being part of the community and connecting with neighbors from all over the country while continuing to grow a business built on creativity, quality, and outdoor living.
