About the owner
Mike Slobodow brings more than 45 years of experience helping clients navigate financial decisions and achieve their long-term goals. After earning a BBA in Accounting from Florida International University and an MBA in Finance from the New York Institute of Technology, he built a successful career in the private sector, holding senior leadership positions with organizations including Macy’s, ABC, Dean & DeLuca, and Carmine’s.
Mike and his wife of nearly 50 years, Debra, moved to Babcock Ranch in 2021 after recognizing the tremendous potential of the growing community. Together, they have become active supporters of local businesses and residents, helping strengthen the community they now proudly call home.
For Mike, the most rewarding part of his work is helping clients improve their financial situations and achieve meaningful goals. Knowing that his guidance can make a positive impact on someone’s future continues to motivate him every day.
At home, Mike and Deb enjoy life with their two Chihuahuas, Teddy and Pebbles.
In the community
Mike and Deb Slobodow are active leaders within the Babcock Ranch community and currently help lead the Babcock Referral Alliance. They are passionate about supporting local businesses, strengthening community connections, and helping both residents and entrepreneurs succeed.
Mike has spearheaded quarterly community blood drives and is always looking for meaningful ways to give back. As a notary, he also happily notarizes simple forms for Babcock Ranch residents at no charge, recognizing the importance of providing helpful services to neighbors. Together, Mike and Deb remain committed to supporting the continued growth of the community while helping build lasting legacies for the people and businesses that call Babcock Ranch home.
