Debbiann spent years as a kindergarten teacher while also working as a designer, home stager, and creative entrepreneur with her own clothing line, always bringing warmth, creativity, and a natural eye for making a house feel like home.

That same passion has always been part of who she is. Designs in Mind by Debbiann has long reflected her natural ability to help homeowners feel confident, comfortable, and excited about their spaces, guiding them in a way that feels easy and personal. The name Feverish Pace has a story of its own, one that goes all the way back to the beginning of John’s career.

“As a young apprentice, I was known for working at a feverish pace,” John said. “When I had my race car, I named it that, and it stayed with me all these years. It represents working with precision, pride, and purpose.”

For Debbiann, moving to Babcock Ranch also meant something deeply personal. After a car accident in 2013, she is no longer able to drive, so finding a community where she could still move freely and continue doing what she loves was life changing.

“Being able to get around by golf cart, visit clients, and still do what I love gave me a sense of freedom back,” she said. “That meant everything.”

Today, that same sense of gratitude carries into the life they have built here. Whether it is early morning walks along the trails, taking in the peaceful lakes, or simply enjoying time at home, they have fully embraced the lifestyle Babcock Ranch offers.

“There is something about sitting on our lanai overlooking Lake Babcock,” Debbiann said. “Working for a bit, then stepping away for a quick swim. Sometimes it does not even feel like work. It just feels like a beautiful way to live.”

Family is at the center of it all. John and Debbiann are proud parents of six adult children and are blessed with four grandchildren, who continue to be one of their greatest joys.

Recently, John and Debbiann renewed their vows surrounded by all of their children, a moment that reflected the values they have built their life around. It was not just a celebration of their marriage, but a way to show their family the importance of commitment, love, and standing by one another through every season of life.

And while their business continues to grow, their focus has never changed.

“We made a conscious decision to exclusively serve Babcock Ranch,” John said. “This is our home, and we take pride in serving our community.”
